Double Win for our Affiliates Gerald Eve at the UK Property Awards

Gerald Eve is celebrating a double success at the 2017 Property Awards, walking away with the accolades for Investment Team of the Year and Professional Team of the Year.

Andrew Mears, John Rodgers and Richard Lines collected the Investment award following a stellar year for the firm’s capital markets team, during which it built on previous successes and incorporated new arrivals to establish itself as one of the market’s most prominent players. With expanded capabilities, the team advised on many of the year’s highest-profile deals, creating a new force in UK investment agency.

In addition, head of business rates Jerry Schurder accepted the award for the Professional category on behalf of Gerald Eve’s rating team. In what has been a tumultuous year for ratepayers, Gerald Eve has been at the forefront in defending its clients’ interests and lobbying the Government for a fairer business rates system. Gerald Eve has saved clients more than £2.35 billion in rates payments during the 2010 revaluation.
